Procurement Manager FTC

Procurement Manager (FTC) – E-Commerce Business

  • Role: Procurement Manager (8-month Fixed-Term Contract)
  • Salary: £40,000–£50,000
  • Location: 1 day in London (remaining work remote)

About the Role

We’re partnering with one of the UK’s fastest-growing e-commerce businesses for this brand-new Procurement Manager (FTC) role. Based primarily remotely with 1 day in the office per week, you’ll lead procurement strategy, sourcing new products and suppliers, and driving cost savings—while ensuring operational excellence across the supply chain.

This is a thrilling opportunity to support the company’s rapid expansion across the UK and Europe. As a key player, you’ll help grow their product portfolio, from finished goods to packaging, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

You will:

Supplier & Product Sourcing

  • Identify and source new products and suppliers to support category growth.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, recommending commercial opportunities aligned with business objectives.

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Negotiate contracts to deliver measurable cost savings, while maintaining product quality and supplier performance.
  • Oversee supplier and SKU onboarding, ensuring new offerings are both commercially viable and operationally ready by launch.

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term supplier relationships, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Act as the commercial liaison between suppliers and cross-functional teams (e.g., Range, Product, Logistics).

Internal Collaboration

  • Partner with Product & Range teams to provide:
    • Market insights
    • Supplier benchmarks
    • Data-driven commercial recommendations
  • Ensure clear communication with stakeholders to avoid surplus inventory or inefficiencies (“no surprises” approach).

About You

We’re looking for a ** results-driven procurement professional ** with:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Procurement, Buying, or Sourcing (preferably in FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, or a fast-paced industry).
  • Sharp negotiator with a track record of securing favourable terms.
  • Proven ability to build and manage supplier relationships—internally and externally.
  • Thrives in a high-growth, ever-changing business environment.
  • Problem solver with an eye for detail—big on action, small on mistakes.
  • Highly organised, skilled in project management, and prioritising key activities.
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys cross-functional work.
