Procurement Manager

Location: London
Working Model: Hybrid Working - one day per week in the London office
Salary: £53,592 - £60,535 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Contract: Fixed-term until 31st December 2027 - with potential to become permanent

The Opportunity

A leading UK membership organisation is seeking a Procurement Manager to establish and develop procurement capability across the business.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation undergoing significant transformation. The successful candidate will take ownership of procurement activity across multiple business areas, helping to drive value for money, strengthen contract management practices, and build strategic supplier relationships.

  • Lead and coordinate procurement activity across the organisation
  • Develop and embed procurement governance, policies, and best practice
  • Support contract managers to improve commercial outcomes and supplier performance
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency savings and value creation
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers
  • Provide commercial advice and guidance across a wide range of procurement projects
  • Support the re-procurement of critical contracts as part of a wider digital transformation programme
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement and contract management capability

About You

We're keen to speak with procurement professionals who can combine strong technical expertise with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience managing end-to-end procurement activity.
  • A strong understanding of procurement governance and contract management.
  • The ability to influence and challenge stakeholders constructively.
  • Experience building effective supplier relationships.
  • A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering value for money.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The confidence to operate autonomously while working collaboratively across a wider organisation.

Working Arrangements

This is a London-based position operating on a hybrid working model.

The current expectation is approximately one day per week in the London office, with the remainder working remotely. The organisation is committed to flexible working and is open to discussing alternative working arrangements where possible.
