This role is an exciting opportunity to join us and work within our Enterprise Procurement team.

As a Procurement Manager, you will support the strategic sourcing and commercial management of Technology Infrastructure spend categories across Sky, Comcast and NBCUniversal. The role will involve interaction with stakeholders across Technology, Finance and Legal, working across multiple geographies including the UK, Italy and the US.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead strategic sourcing, supplier management and category activities across Infrastructure Hardware (Servers & Storage), End User Computing, Security Hardware/ Software & Hardware Support Services.
  • Develop and execute Procurement category strategies that support business and technology objectives.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, sourcing events, contract renewals and supplier selection exercises.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring Procurement is aligned to technology roadmaps and business priorities.
  • Analyse spend, contracts and market data to identify commercial opportunities, cost optimisation initiatives and risk mitigation actions.
  • Prepare commercial recommendations, business cases, presentations and negotiation strategies for senior stakeholders.
  • Deliver meaningful contribution towards the team and department savings targets.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Infrastructure Procurement team globally, including peers responsible for Cloud, AI and Data Centre categories.
  • Manage strategic relationships with Sky’s Value-Added Reseller (VAR) partners, acting as the primary Procurement lead for reseller governance and performance management.
  • Evaluate, update and provide recommendations on the long-term VAR Strategy for Sky UK & Italy
  • Establish, track and report supplier KPIs, ensuring suppliers deliver against agreed service, operational and commercial objectives.
  • Schedule and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), driving accountability, innovation and continuous improvement from key suppliers.
  • Make recommendations on the most effective purchasing routes for various Technology commodities, balancing cost, supply risk, speed and business requirements.
  • Lead the renegotiation of reseller agreements, Master Services Agreements (MSAs).
  • Track, monitor and optimise supplier rebates, incentives and funding programmes to maximise value for Sky.
  • Communicate the progress & benefits of the Value-Added Reseller relationships to the Procurement leadership team.

Essential Criteria

What you’ll bring

  • Proven procurement experience across IT Hardware, Infrastructure or Technology categories.
  • Proven Procurement experience specifically including the development of category plans and the data analysis to feed into these plans.
  • Procurement processes, knowledge and experience of running sourcing activities including RFPs and large-scale renewals.
  • Good understanding of Sky, our platforms and products, and the wider competitive context within which the Sky business operates.
  • Experience of working in a manager or analyst role and within a procurement team.
  • Experience in a global / pan-European function, managing varying demands and needs within a single project.
  • Being a great teammate.
