Procurement Team Lead @ Bloom & Wild Group

We don’t just send flowers. We help our customers to care wildly.

At the heart of what we do lies a commitment to enriching life’s little moments—whether through celebration, support, or simply saying that we’re there. This philosophy extends beyond our core offering to deeply encompass the people we work with and the planet we share. As a certified B Corp™, we embed this mindset into every aspect of our mission, cultivating a business where long-term positive impact is central to our growth. Founded in 2013, Bloom & Wild transformed flower delivery into a seamless, joyful experience through technology, brand-building, and doorstep convenience.

In 2021, we secured £75 million in Series D funding and expanded by acquiring bloomon (The Netherlands) and Bergamotte (France). Together, we’ve delivered over 20 million orders, establishing ourselves as Europe’s largest direct-to-consumer flower business. Our journey continues as we broaden our focus beyond flora, evolving into a thoughtful gifting destination for categories such as cakes, candles, and cocktails.

About the Role

You’ll play a pivotal role in our fastest-growing categories—those beyond horticulture. As the Procurement Team Lead, you will cater to everything from fresh-baked goodies and luxury hamper components to home and lifestyle essentials, all anchored by the packaging that ensures our “wow” factor lands seamlessly with customers. The team operates across two key pillars: Strategic Procurement and Stock Planning.

This is a chance to shape a foundational procurement function from the ground up. Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement & Inventory, your mandate will be to architect scalable operations and ensure operational readiness for our rapid growth. This involves driving perfection in availability, optimising inventory health, and enabling fresh, robust range expansions—all delivered through clear processes that leave no room for surprises.

Responsibilities

  • Supplier and SKU Mastery:

    • Source new suppliers and SKUs to accelerate the growth of our non-horticultural gifting range.
    • Onboard suppliers and SKUs by ensuring full commercial vetting and operational readiness.
  • Cost Efficiency:

    • Lead supplier negotiations to push against waste, secure cost savings without compromising quality.
    • Hit our margin ambitions with relentless commercial acumen.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
