As Procurement Manager Property

Your role is key to sourcing high quality materials and services for both planned refurbishment projects and reactive maintenance across the group.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the Procurement and Supply Chain objectives are achieved, in alignment with the strategic ESG objectives for the group including Sustainable disposal of item
  • Sourcing of potential new suppliers, onboarding, completing tenders, managing supplier selection processes and negotiating pricing
  • Proactive support to the Property team, Project Teams & Laundry, identifying opportunities for potential savings which drive value for money. Responsible for delivering savings targets and manage and grow commercial opportunities for supplier support and added value such as enhanced payment terms, rebates and listing fees.
  • Fleet Support - responsible for the procurement of all purchased and leased vehicles including maintenance cost control and working with Transport Manager to ensure compliance
  • Procurement Lead on Refurbishment Projects and Maintaining the Project Trackers

About you:

We love to welcome people with different experiences and from different places into our Apex family. We want to ensure you get the best experience from the role you begin your journey with us in. To excel within this role, you will have:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in procurement ideally within the hospitality, leisure or FMCG sector
  • Excellent Communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues throughout the group
  • The ability to meet deadlines and deliver results in a very fast-paced environment
  • A competent user of Microsoft office applications including Excel and Word
  • Strong Negotiation Skills
