Role Purpose

The Procurement Operations Senior Manager will lead the regional execution of MVH Europe’s Procurement function, managing a geographically dispersed team responsible for strategic procurement business partnering, operational service delivery, and clinic-level tactical support.

This senior role ensures end-to-end alignment across the procurement lifecycle—connecting strategic sourcing, business partnering, supply chain support, and day-to-day clinical enablement while driving consistency, value, and stakeholder satisfaction across a multi-country network.

Operational Leadership & Governance

  • Lead a team of Procurement Business Partners supporting multiple European countries and clusters.
  • Provide direction and structure for Procurement Hospital Support roles to ensure best-in-class tactical support for clinics.
  • Oversee Supply Chain Support and Coupa Enablement to optimise procurement platforms and integration with logistics functions.
  • Drive operational consistency across markets, balancing standardisation with the needs of decentralised environments.

Regional Stakeholder Partnership

  • Build trusted relationships with regional leaders and functional stakeholders, positioning Procurement as a proactive, strategic partner.
  • Translate business needs into practical procurement support aligned to compliance, agility, and long-term value.
  • Oversee regional procurement performance reporting, issue resolution, and clinic-level escalation management.

Delivery Excellence & Enablement

  • Embed clear service models that differentiate strategic procurement, operational support, and tactical buying.
  • Partner with Directors of Strategic Sourcing (Direct & Indirect), Rebates, and Strategy & Effectiveness to ensure integrated delivery.
  • Own and evolve the procurement operating model at both regional and local levels, driving continuous improvement.

People & Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and inspire an international team across multiple procurement disciplines.
  • Drive capability development and future career pathways within the Procurement Operations organisation.
  • Shape resourcing strategies to support MVH’s growth, including onboarding of new markets, clinics, and roles.

Systems & Process Integration

  • Champion the adoption and optimisation of Coupa and other procurement technologies across Europe.
  • Ensure procurement processes are scalable, user-friendly, and well-understood by all stakeholders.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, and Supply Chain on system upgrades, issue resolution, and future roadmap planning.

Experience Required

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field (required).
  • Professional qualifications (CIPS, CPSM, APICS) preferred.
  • Additional education in leadership, operations, or project management is a plus.

Professional Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in Procurement, Operations, or Supply Chain leadership within multinational organisations.
  • Proven experience leading multi-country teams across both strategic and tactical procurement.
  • Strong background in decentralised or complex stakeholder environments.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvement and service optimisation at scale.
  • Deep understanding of procurement systems (preferably Coupa) and operational service delivery.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills at senior levels.
  • Experience supporting clinical, healthcare, or veterinary environments is advantageous.
  • Business-level English required; additional European languages beneficial.
