Belcan Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team on a 6-month rolling contract. Based in Warwick with a hybrid working pattern, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a complex, fast-paced engineering environment while delivering real impact across a global supply chain.
As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating contracts to achieve cost-effective and sustainable outcomes. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to enhance performance, improve efficiency, and support continuous improvement across procurement operations.

The successful Procurement Specialist will bring strong commercial acumen, experience working within global or matrix organisations, and the ability to analyse market trends to inform procurement strategies. You’ll also be responsible for monitoring supplier performance, managing risk, and delivering value through effective contract and supplier management.
Essential requirements:
- Extensive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Advanced Excel and analytical capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Degree-qualified (MBA desirable)
- Travel to suppliers as and when needed - 1 every 2-3 months

Key details:
- Warwick (hybrid: 2 days on-site, 3 days initially)
- 6-month rolling contract
- 37.5 hours per week / 7.5 hours per day
- £400 – £480 per day (PAYE)
- £540 – £648 per day (Umbrella)
- Inside IR35
