Responsibilities
The role involves end-to-end procurement and supply chain management, collaborating closely with engineering, production, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution. Key responsibilities include:
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Procure build-to-print and build-to-specification orders within a production ERP environment.
- Define and work with engineering teams to establish requirements ahead of BOM formalisation.
Purchase Orders & Supplier Liaison
- Create and manage purchase orders, including order acknowledgment, expediting, and interventions to resolve supplier issues.
Performance & Compliance
- Monitor and report supplier performance against agreed terms, updating stakeholders and ERP systems.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to avoid project delays.
- Negotiate with suppliers for cost эффектив pricing, scope adjustments, and optimal contract conditions.
Technical Collaboration
- Work with engineering teams on technical artefacts (e.g., drawings, specs, SOWs) to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
- Contribute to processes such as NPIs, Mature, concessions, deviations, and change management in technical/production environments.
Relationship & Stakeholders Integration
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., stores/logistics, quality, operations).
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to drive business objectives.
Reporting & Audits
- Provide progress updates and supply chain feedback to internal teams.
- Support supplier audits when required.

Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate strength in procurement, supply chain, and leadership within high-tech, engineering-driven environments, with a preference for maritime/R&D sectors:
Experience & Qualifications
- 10+ years in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, or a degree in a relevant field.
- European production environment experience, particularly maritime engineering or defence-focused roles.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Infor LN).
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- MCIPS certification preferred (but not mandatory).
- Ability to embrace change rapidly in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-player mentality with strong communication skills.
Security Clearance (Critical)
Due to the subsea and defence aspects of our work:
- Right to live/work in the UK (evidenced).
- Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) required.
- UK National Security Clearance may be necessary for certain roles.
