Procurement Specialist πŸ“ Hybrid Working – Bristol (3-days pw in the office)
πŸ’· Circa Β£250 per day (Inside IR35)
πŸ“… 12-Month Contract

We are supporting a leading organisation within the defence and aerospace sector in the search for a Procurement Specialist to join a growing Supply Chain team on an initial 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with procurement or buying experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with stakeholders across complex programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate contracts for products, services and technologies.
  • Support sourcing activities and develop effective procurement strategies.
  • Prepare and execute contractual documentation and agreements.
  • Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance, quality and delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Balance inventory, demand and supply requirements to support programme delivery.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with wider business objectives.
  • Analyse demand and supply trends to support informed decision-making.
  • Communicate supplier performance metrics and expectations.

About You

  • 2-4 years' experience within procurement, supply chain or buying roles.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP knowledge advantageous).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working within a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Defence, aerospace or engineering sector experience would be beneficial.
