What You Will Do
- Deliver Strategic Category Plan (SCP) creation and execution through the sourcing process
- Lead complex supplier negotiations, including legal and financial approvals pre:Contract or Purchase Order
- Apply a Total Cost of Ownership approach to support sourcing decisions and agreed targets
- Manage contract and supplier relationship governance, including supplier business reviews and action tracking
- Support change management for contracts and Purchase Orders, ensuring accuracy and control
- Contribute to savings programme delivery and relevant financial reconciliation and contract audit/reviews

What You Will Bring
- A degree or equivalent experience, with automotive OEM or supplier experience and capital equipment category knowledge
- Proven commercial awareness and strong negotiation capability, with confidence handling supplier discussions
- Solid understanding of category management principles and strategic sourcing within procurement functions
- Experience in contract management and supplier relationship management, ideally in an operational procurement setting
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, including finance and key stakeholders
