Procurement Specialist – Technology

London | Hybrid Working (2 Days in the Office)

Up to £45,000 + Excellent Benefits + Fully Funded CIPS

Looking to take the next step in your procurement career and gain exposure to one of the most in-demand procurement categories?

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has gained exposure to end-to-end procurement across any category and is now looking to build their expertise within Technology Procurement. You'll join a high-performing procurement team where you'll work alongside experienced professionals on strategic sourcing projects while receiving ongoing mentoring and development.

Previous IT procurement experience isn't essential. Instead, we're looking for someone with strong commercial foundations, a willingness to learn and the ambition to develop within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You'll also have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced and highly regarded Head of Procurement who has an excellent track record of developing talent and supporting career progression.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support end-to-end sourcing projects across the Technology category.
  • Assist with supplier selection, tendering activities and commercial evaluations.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver value.
  • Support supplier negotiations, contract management and supplier performance reviews.
  • Analyse spend data and identify opportunities to improve cost, quality and supplier performance.
  • Gain hands-on experience across strategic sourcing and category management while learning from experienced procurement professionals.

You'll ideally have:

  • Around 1–3 years' procurement experience.
  • Exposure to end-to-end procurement across any category.
  • Experience gained on a procurement graduate programme would be advantageous, but is by no means essential.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A commercial mindset with good analytical ability.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career within Technology Procurement.
  • Either be studying towards CIPS or keen to become qualified.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large, mature procurement function that is genuinely committed to developing its people. You'll receive structured mentoring from an experienced Head of Procurement, fully funded CIPS qualifications and exposure to strategic Technology sourcing projects within a high-performing team.
