Due to continued expansion plans, our client has a number of exciting opportunities for Procurement Specialist’s and Senior Buyer’s to join their successful and growing international business.

Specialising in global procurement and sourcing solutions, our client has a diverse portfolio of international customers predominately based in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and South America.

In this role you will support customers in sourcing and supply of specialist equipment all over the world and be involved in many different sectors such as Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Agriculture and Engineering, creating an exciting working environment where each day brings new challenges.

Ideal candidates will have worked in a similar industrial, engineering, construction or technical procurement/buying role previously. Any international sourcing experience would also be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure a diverse range of products and equipment from global suppliers in line with specifications and commercial objectives.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, lead times and payment terms to achieve the best value.
  • Ensure all sourced products meet required technical standards, quality expectations and delivery deadlines.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a global network of suppliers.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure quality, availability and on-time delivery of products.
  • Efficiently manage multiple RFQs (Requests for Quotation) simultaneously, ensuring accurate and timely submissions that meet customer requirements and expectations.
  • Deliver end-to-end account management for existing customers, coordinating sourcing, procurement, logistics and after-sales support.
  • Consistently achieve personal and team KPIs, revenue targets and performance objectives.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, account management, sales supply chain, or a related commercial role.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to evaluate supplier quotations and identify cost-effective procurement solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop long-term partnerships with suppliers and customers.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, RFQs, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence interacting with international suppliers and clients.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and source products that meet customer requirements.
