A leading UK infrastructure organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join its Major Projects Procurement team, supporting the delivery of some of the UK's largest and most complex infrastructure programmes.
This is a highly strategic role focused on developing supply chain capability from the earliest stages of major bids through to successful project mobilisation. Working alongside commercial, engineering and project leadership teams, you'll play a key role in shaping supply chain strategy, engaging strategic partners and ensuring the business is well positioned to deliver major infrastructure projects successfully.
If you enjoy operating at the front end of major projects—building supply chain strategies, engaging the market and influencing senior stakeholders—this is an excellent opportunity to make a genuine impact within a market-leading organisation.
The Opportunity
You'll be responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies that support both major bids and live project delivery, ensuring suppliers are engaged early, risks are understood and commercial objectives are achieved.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
