About the Role
Our client, a leading global FMCG organization, is transforming its global Digital Technologies (DT) Commercial procurement function. Historically, the function has operated in a fragmented model across regional teams using disparate tracking methods (Excel, Monday.com, and various spend analytics tools).
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Transformation Lead to conduct rapid current-state discovery, map how procurement actually operates today, and design the Target Operating Model (TOM). You will stand up portfolio governance, stage gates, and controls from scratch, establishing a single source of truth before handing off a clear, dependency-aware implementation roadmap for delivery teams to execute against.
Crucial Distinction (Set-Up vs. Run): We need someone who has built and stood up governance models from scratch. This is not a hands-on delivery project manager role, nor is it a day-to-day PMO administration post.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
