Audit/Product Analyst – Accounting & AI
Location: Remote-first (approx. 1 day/week in London)

About the Role
Our client is an early-stage AI startup building products that will transform the accounting profession.
We're looking for a technically strong accountant with an interest in AI and technology to help bridge the gap between Accounting, Product, and Engineering.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move beyond traditional accounting into Product and AI.
What You'll Do
- Translate accounting processes into product requirements.
- Work with Product and Engineering to build AI-powered features.
- Validate accounting logic within AI outputs.
- Gather customer feedback and improve product functionality.
- Research AI tools and accounting automation opportunities.

What We're Looking For
- Strong technical accounting background (Audit, Financial Reporting, Accounting Outsourcing, or Technical Accounting).
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or AAT qualified (or equivalent experience).
- Interest in AI and technology, with experience using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot.
- Some exposure to Product, Business Analysis, ERP, or process improvement is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate accounting concepts into clear technical requirements.
