--- ## Job Description: Product Analyst
About the Role
We’re seeking a Product Analyst to join our Home Finance team, focusing on:
- Product development, governance, and performance oversight
- Building insights from data to drive better decisions
You don’t need mortgage experience, but you’ll need strong analytical skills, stakeholder collaboration abilities, and a willingness to learn in a regulated, customer-centric environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate, insightful reporting for key product governance forums
- Analyse datasets and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations
- Support Senior Product Managers with product reviews, business cases, and strategic initiatives
- Improve meaningful intelligence (MI), reporting processes, and data outputs to enhance team efficiency
- Support product lifecycle activities, including:
- Fair Value Assessments
- Product Risk Reviews
- Review product performance, risks, and customer outcomes to meet regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with teams across:
- Commercial
- Actuarial
- Conduct Risk
- Change & MI
- Contribute to smaller product improvement projects, leveraging insights from idea to delivery

Requirements & Skills
Essential
- Strong data analysis skills with experience manipulating datasets
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (data interrogation, modelling)
- Ability to interpret complex requirements and deliver precise, insightful outputs
- Experience creating actionable insights for reporting, decision-making, or governance
- Interest in developing product management knowledge
- Good understanding of data governance, data quality, or auditable reporting
Nice-to-have
- Experience in financial services, lending, regulated environments, Power BI, or mortgages
