Who We Are
Zilch is a payment tech company on a mission to create the most empowering way to pay for anything, anywhere. Combining the best of debit, credit and savings, we give our customers the option to earn instant cashback or spread the cost of pricier purchases, completely interest free and with no late fees. Pretty great, right?
We started in 2018 with a small team and a big dream - to make credit accessible to all. Since then, we've achieved double unicorn status and taken on more than 5 million customers. There are some exciting projects coming up and we’ve got big growth plans.

About The Role
You will be the embedded into a Product team, offering strategic analytics and meaningful insights to influence the development roadmap and enable self-serve data-driven decision making.
At Zilch, you will learn to understand our customers better than anybody. You will use this to help enable the business to build the best products possible for our customers by proposing great ideas, sizing risks, measuring impact.
This role reports into the Lead Product Analyst alongside two other analysts in the Spend domain. Being a unicorn startup, we work rapidly and flexibly. Expect to work with various business stakeholders and solving various different problems.
This is not a reporting role. You'll sit alongside Product Managers as their analytical counterpart, spotting things they don't, challenging assumptions with evidence, and sharing your own ideas and insights to drive the team forward.
The opportunity to make an impact here is immediate. This domain hinges on understanding user behaviour, the ability to contextualise the value proposition and thinking along product lines, to enable users to build new financial products and optimise our existing suite.
Growth & Support. Your manager is there to support you and mentor you, taking an active role in helping you shape your career path and trajectory

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
