Product Analyst
Product Analyst – Home Finance Team

About the Role
We’re seeking a Product Analyst to join our Home Finance team, supporting analysis, governance, and decision-making for our later-life mortgage portfolio.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with: ✔ Strong analytical skills ✔ Customer-focused mindset (regulated but outcomes-driven) ✔ Confidence with data (mortgage experience optional but welcome)
Your work will bridge data, reporting, and product strategy—helping teams make smarter, faster decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Insight-driven reporting:
- Create accurate, insightful reports for product governance forums
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Strategic support:
- Assist Senior Product Managers in product reviews, business cases, and strategic initiatives
- Enhance Management Information (MI) and reporting processes to improve efficiency
- Regulatory & product oversight:
- Support Fair Value Assessments and Product Risk Reviews
- Review product performance, risks, and customer outcomes against regulatory standards
- Collaborative delivery:
- Work across teams: Commercial, Actuarial, Conduct Risk, Change, and MI
- Manage smaller product changes/enhancements from concept to delivery
- Data-driven decision-making:
- Analyse datasets, test hypotheses, and deliver visualisations (e.g., Power BI)

Who We’re Looking For
✅ Essential skills & experience:
- Strong analytical skills with confidence working with structured datasets
- Advanced Excel abilities (data interrogation, pivot tables, complex formulae)
- Clear communication: translating requirements into precise, usable outputs
- Proactive mindset: creating insights to support governance, decision-making, or reporting
- Foundational product knowledge (willing to grow in regulated financial services)
✅ ** Bonus experience **:
- Financial services, lending, or mortgages (familiarity not mandatory)
- Data governance, auditable reporting, or Power BI
- Regulated environment experience
