Product Analyst - BCG Consultancy Exp Hounslow - Onsite 3 days a week 12 month contract Inside of IR35 £800 per day

We’re hiring a Product Analyst to join our Value Assurance team — a group of product‑focused consultants who are accountable for turning change into measurable business value. This role is for people who are driven by outcomes, not activity. You’ll work in complex, ambiguous environments, take ownership of high‑impact problems, and carry them from diagnosis through to sustained value in BAU.

What You’ll Do

Own outcomes and assure value Take ownership of complex problem spaces where success criteria are initially unclear Diagnose root causes of under performance across processes, systems, data, and operating models Design and implement changes that deliver tangible value — cost savings, revenue uplift, productivity gains, or improved customer outcomes Track value through delivery and into BAU, ensuring benefits are realised, not just forecast Act as a product‑focused internal consultant Frame problems, challenge assumptions, and define what “good” looks like before delivery begins Work directly with senior stakeholders to align on priorities, trade‑offs, and value targets Translate strategic intent into executable product and operational change — and own the results Rewire how work gets done Design future‑state processes, operating models, and delivery approaches that embed value ownership Move initiatives out of programme mode and into sustainable BAU delivery Simplify workflows and reduce reliance on system integrators by clarifying ownership and accountability Deliver through product and systems Shape requirements, user journeys, and system changes that enable new ways of working Partner closely with Product Managers, engineers, and architects to deliver change Own end‑to‑end delivery: discovery, build, transition, stabilisation, and value tracking

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What Good Looks Like Clear evidence of value delivered, not just work completed (e.g. “Led X initiative resulting in £Y cost reduction / Z% productivity gain / £N ARR uplift”) Ambiguous problem spaces turned into clear ownership, delivery, and BAU accountability Value sustained after delivery, not lost at handover Senior stakeholders trust you to run the problem and assure the outcome
