About the Role
Are you passionate about turning data into insights, with a knack for product-focused problem-solving? We’re looking for a Product Analyst to join our Home Finance team, where you’ll play a crucial role in product development, governance, and performance oversight across our later-life mortgage portfolio.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who thrives in collaborative environments, improving reporting, and enabling data-driven decision-making. While mortgage experience isn’t necessary, you’ll need confidence with data and a willingness to grow your expertise in regulated, customer-centric product management.

Reporting & Governance
- Produce accurate, insightful reporting for key product governance forums
- Support Fair Value Assessments and Product Risk Reviews to ensure compliance

Data Analysis & Decision Support
- Analyse datasets to derive actionable insights and provide clear, practical recommendations
- Support Senior Product Managers in product reviews, business case development, and strategic initiatives

Process & Efficiency Improvement
- Review and enhance Management Information (MI) and reporting processes
- Optimise data outputs to boost team efficiency across product lifecycle activities

Regulatory & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Assess product performance, risks, and customer outcomes against regulatory expectations
- Work closely with teams in Commercial, Actuarial, Conduct Risk, Change, and MI to align improvements

Product Development Support
- Oversee smaller product changes and enhancements from concept through delivery
What You’ll Bring
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong ability to analyse structured datasets and extract meaningful conclusions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel—advanced data manipulation, interrogation, and analysis
- Fast, precise interpretation of requirements to generate clear outputs
- Experience delivering insight-driven reporting or governance outputs
- An interest in expanding product management knowledge
- Awareness of data governance, data quality, and auditable reporting
Desirable (Not Mandatory)
- Background or interest in financial services, lending, or mortgage regulations
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
- Familiarity with regulated environments or compliance frameworks
