The Role
At AMD, you will play a critical role in shaping how developers build next-generation applications using Vitis and our adaptive computing platforms. This position sits at the intersection of software, hardware, and developer experience—working closely with product engineering, field teams, and customers to bring powerful solutions to life.
You will engage with a global ecosystem of developers and partners, helping them design, prototype, and optimize applications while also influencing how tools and workflows evolve. From creating compelling technical content to enabling customer success, you will have the opportunity to drive impact across the full developer journey.
This is a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment where innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning are encouraged. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies spanning embedded systems, FPGA/SoC development, and emerging AI-driven workflows—making a real impact on how developers adopt and scale AMD solutions.

The Person
You are a technically curious and collaborative individual who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering, customer engagement, and product strategy. You thrive in environments where you can simplify complex concepts and make them accessible to developers and stakeholders.
You are comfortable working cross-functionally and building strong relationships across teams, from engineering to field organizations and external partners. You bring a proactive mindset, enjoy exploring new technologies, and are motivated by enabling others to succeed.
Strong communication and storytelling skills allow you to translate technical depth into clear, structured, and engaging content. You are passionate about improving developer experiences and continuously look for new ways to enhance workflows through innovation and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, field teams, and product engineering for Vitis software toolchains and embedded system development workflows
- Develop and maintain technical collateral (tutorials, demos, presentations, blogs) to demonstrate Vitis capabilities and new feature releases
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define solution patterns, developer workflows, and enablement strategies
- Support customers and partners in designing, prototyping, and optimizing applications using Vitis and AMD adaptive computing platforms
- Contribute to developer enablement through training materials, documentation, and onboarding resources
- Provide structured feedback from customer engagements to influence product roadmap and go-to-market strategies
- Stay current with industry trends in embedded systems, software toolchains, FPGA/SoC development, and AI-driven workflows

Preferred Experience
- Background in software development, embedded systems, or FPGA/SoC design with hands-on project experience
- Familiarity with modern software toolchains, IDE-based workflows, or heterogeneous computing environments
- Experience with high-level synthesis (HLS), Vitis, or similar development frameworks
- Understanding of developer workflows and technical enablement best practices
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas in a clear and structured way
- Experience collaborating across engineering, product, and customer-facing teams
Academic Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
- Advanced degree in a relevant discipline considered an advantage
