As a Product Assembly Team Leader, you'll lead from the front in a hands-on production environment where precision, quality, and continuous improvement directly influence the performance of highly specialized equipment supplied to customers worldwide.

Your responsibilities as Product Assembly Team Leader

  • Lead the daily planning and coordination of assembly activities to achieve targets.
  • Carry out mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, testing, calibration, and fault finding to required standards.
  • Ensure build records, calibration documentation, and quality paperwork are completed accurately before products are released.
  • Monitor operational performance, identifying improvements that enhance efficiency, workflow, and right-first-time performance.
  • Support cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and remove barriers to delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements, ISO 9001 standards, and workplace organization practices.

What we're looking for in a Product Assembly Team Leader

  • Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience within a technical assembly and testing environment.
  • Experience supervising production or manufacturing teams, including workload planning and supporting staff development.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, work instructions, and test procedures.
  • Competence using measuring and test equipment, Microsoft Office, and production or ERP/MRP systems.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems, calibration processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Working hours

7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (Based on a 40-hour core working week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break daily).
