Product Data Scientist (AI-Native Products) – Senior / Staff Level Location: London (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite) Level: Senior / Tech Lead or Staff Salary: £110,000-£145,000 + strong shares
The Opportunity We’re partnering with a fast-growing, AI-native SaaS organisation building next-generation, assistant-led products powered by large-scale conversational data.
This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact team working at the forefront of human–AI interaction, where your insights will directly influence product direction and user experience.
You’ll sit at the centre of a growing analytics function, acting as a hub across multiple product areas, shaping how the business understands and improves AI-driven conversations at scale.
What You’ll Be Doing Analyse high-volume text and conversation data to uncover meaningful patterns and user behaviours Apply semantic analysis and NLP techniques to improve product performance and user experience Partner closely with product and engineering teams to translate insights into actionable decisions Build scalable data pipelines and analytical frameworks using Python and SQL Take ownership of end-to-end analysis – from problem definition to recommendations and impact Influence product direction through insight-led, exploratory analysis, not just optimisation

What We’re Looking For Proven experience working with large-scale text or conversational datasets (essential) Strong background in semantic analysis / NLP (required) Advanced Python and SQL skills, including building data pipelines Experience collaborating with product teams and driving real business impact from data Comfortable working in ambiguous, exploratory environments Track record of owning projects end-to-end, from data exploration through to recommendations
