Product Delivery Manager
Department: Product & Technology Employment Type: Full Time Location: London Reporting To: Karen Veltri
Description
We are looking for an experienced Product Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of complex, cross-functional technology initiatives across Product and Technology. This role is responsible for driving initiatives from planning and coordination through to delivery and release, ensuring that teams are aligned, risks are managed, and outcomes are delivered predictably.
You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and business stakeholders to translate priorities into structured plans, maintain delivery momentum across multiple workstreams, and provide clear visibility of progress, dependencies, and risks. The role requires strong organisation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, alongside a solid understanding of software and technical delivery environments.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable operating across both strategic planning and day-to-day delivery management, with a continuous improvement mindset and confidence working across Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of technical initiatives and projects across Product and Technology, ensuring scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks are actively managed throughout the lifecycle.
- Partner with Product Managers, Technical Leads, and other stakeholders to translate business and product goals into clear delivery plans, milestones, backlog priorities, and success measures.
- Coordinate day-to-day delivery across multiple teams and workstreams, balancing capacity and demand, maintaining momentum, and resolving blockers for predictable outcomes.
- Assist with project tracking and reporting, keeping plans, risks, actions, and dependencies up to date, and helping stakeholders stay informed on progress.
- Facilitate core delivery ceremonies and governance forums, including:
- Stand-ups
- Planning sessions
- Reviews
- Retrospectives
- Checkpoints
- Ensure actions are captured and followed through.
- Manage cross-team and third-party dependencies, aligning schedules, release activities, and handovers to reduce delivery risk and ensure smooth implementation.
- Track delivery progress using appropriate tools and dashboards, maintaining accurate reporting across timelines, risks, resource considerations, and delivery performance.
- Identify and escalate issues early, agreeing on mitigating actions, owners, and dates, while working with stakeholders to maintain progress and minimise disruption.
- Promote strong delivery practices and continuous improvement, using:
- Retrospectives
- Feedback
- Performance insights to improve ways of working, collaboration, and throughput over time.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience delivering technical initiatives or projects with clear ownership across:
- Planning
- Execution
- Governance
- Delivery
- Strong understanding of software and technical delivery environments, with experience working across:
- Engineering
- Product
- Data
- Business stakeholders
- Strong command of core project management disciplines, including:
- Planning
- RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies) management
- Dependency management
- Stakeholder reporting
- Delivery governance
- Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams, balancing priorities, resolving blockers, and maintaining momentum in fast-paced environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile delivery approaches such as Scrum and Kanban, alongside familiarity with Waterfall or phase-gate methods where appropriate.
- Confident communicator with strong skills in:
- Facilitation
- Prioritisation
- Stakeholder management capable of translating technical progress into clear business updates.
- Experience using delivery and planning tools like Jira, MS Project, or Trello, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Beneficial experience with initiatives involving:
- Content and data ingestion
- Tagging and metadata management
- Workflow optimisation
- Cross-system integrations or AI-enabled processes
- Beneficial experience in information services or similarly complex environments.
- Useful qualifications include PRINCE2, MSP, APM PMQ, or PMP.
