About The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to register your interest in Product Design Engineer roles within manufacturing and engineering environments. Roles of this type could involve working with businesses across the Midlands and beyond, supporting the design and development of products that meet ISO 9001 standards and customer requirements.

You could be part of collaborative engineering teams where your contributions directly influence product innovation and delivery. The work could involve taking ownership of defined design workstreams, collaborating across mechanical, electrical and controls disciplines, and helping to drive projects from concept through to production.

What You Would Do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Contributing to product design and development across mechanical, electrical or controls disciplines
  • Supporting the creation and refinement of design specifications and technical documentation
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet ISO 9001 and customer requirements
  • Participating in design reviews and supporting problem-solving activities
  • Taking responsibility for delivering assigned design workstreams within project timelines
  • Supporting the transition of designs into manufacturing and production environments

What You Could Bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience in product design, mechanical design, electrical design or controls engineering
  • Working knowledge of relevant design tools and CAD software
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability principles

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards such as ISO 9001
