Role Overview

Join us at Fresha as we embark on an exciting journey of growth and innovation! We're on the lookout for an exceptional Product Designer to become a key player in our global team. In this dynamic role, you'll report directly to the Head of Product Design and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, customer experience, and senior leadership. Your mission: bring fresh perspectives to all product areas at Fresha.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collaborative - Partnering with product managers, senior leadership, engineering, design, and other teams. Together, you will be involved in designing & shipping features across the entire product.
  • Articulate - Communicating your vision and designs effectively by presenting your work to key stakeholders.
  • Accountable - Taking accountability on high design quality and contribute to the design team’s culture and growth through knowledge sharing to ensure we drive quality forward
  • Inquisitive - Build knowledge product knowledge by speaking to internal experts, monitor feedback channels, speak with users, review usage and data. Set up, run, and synthesise learnings from user research studies and benchmarking to help inform what use cases and improvements we should focus on.
  • Simplifying - Turning the complexity into the simplicity of a beautiful solution that truly solves customer needs, which requires deeply understanding the problems our users have and the capabilities of current technology.
  • Meticulous - Design & prototype interfaces to make our product simple and elegant while taking care of every small detail. This could involve quickly building lightweight prototypes to explore interaction pattern or an idea, or building out complex prototypes.

What We're Looking For

  • 4-6 years of professional experience in a product design role.
  • Exceptional visual and user interface design skills, grounded in user-centered design principles.
  • Strong sense of consistency, colour, typography, and an eye for detail. And you’ve worked with design systems to produce beautiful and functional design that scales
  • Ability to grasp complex issues and distill them into clear, focused solutions for our partners and their customers.
  • Effectively communicate product direction even under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, coolness under pressure, creative problem-solving, attention to detail, and a passion for design.
  • You are able to translate design concepts into production collaborating with leadership and engineering teams to deliver value to customers at the highest level of craft quality
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach.
  • Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Interview Process

  • First Stage - Video call / in-person with VP of Product Design - 30-mins
  • Second Stage - Case Study online with VP of Design & Design Team member (Mathias Berchoux) - 1 hour
  • Final Stage - In-person presentation with VP of Design, Head of Product & CPO - 45 mins.
