Arva AI is revolutionising financial crime intelligence with our cutting-edge AI Agents. By automating manual human review tasks, we enhance operational efficiency and help financial institutions handle AML reviews, while cutting operational costs by 80%.
As a Product Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our AI Agent platform. You’ll work across research, UX, UI, and prototyping to design workflows that make complex financial crime investigations clear, efficient, and reliable for real users operating in high-stakes environments.
About The Role
As a Product Designer, you will:
- Own end-to-end design for key product workflows, from user research and problem definition through UX, UI, prototyping, and engineering handoff.
- Own and evolve the design system and component library, ensuring consistency, speed, and quality across the product.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to iterate quickly, validate designs with users, and use product data to inform decisions.
What You’ll Do
- User Research: Conduct and synthesise user research to deeply understand investigator workflows, pain points, and constraints in real-world compliance teams.
- UX Design: Translate complex requirements into clear, intuitive user journeys and interaction models that scale with product complexity.
- UI Design: Design high-quality, detail-oriented interfaces that balance usability, clarity, and trust in a regulated environment.
- Prototyping: Build prototypes to test ideas quickly, validate assumptions, and align stakeholders before development.
- Design Systems: Build, maintain, and improve our design system and component library in close collaboration with engineering.
- Collaboration: Work tightly with Product and Engineers to ship features end-to-end, ensuring design intent is preserved in production.
- Iteration: Use user feedback, qualitative insights, and product data to continuously refine and improve the product experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Our Culture
Deliver Value Fast
Speed starts with clarity. We first understand what value actually means, for the customer, the business, or the system, and then take the shortest credible path to delivering it. We move quickly without cutting corners on quality, security, or trust.
Outcome Obsessed
We obsess over details and take full ownership of wider outcomes, not just tasks. We think like the user, execute with rigor, and validate that every detail works in real conditions. If something falls short, we fix it properly and prevent recurrence, always raising the bar.
Relentless Urgency
We move with urgency because time matters. We prioritise what truly moves the outcome, make decisions with imperfect information, and act decisively. Urgency means focus, momentum, and driving meaningful progress without unnecessary delay.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years as a Product Designer working on complex, user-facing products, including creating and owning a design system.
- End-to-End Ownership: Proven ability to own design from research through to shipped product.
- Design Systems: Experience building and maintaining design systems and scalable component libraries.
- Product Mindset: Strong intuition for product trade-offs and a focus on solving real user problems.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working closely with PMs and Engineers in fast-moving, iterative teams.
- Craft & Detail: High bar for visual polish, interaction quality, and usability.
- Ownership: Proactive, self-directed, and accountable for outcomes, not just deliverables.
- Growth-Oriented: Excited to learn, adapt, and grow as the product and company scale.
