Product/Data Designer (UX/UI) – Audit Technology Innovation

AI & Emerging Technology | End-to-End Product Ownership
Contract inside I35
London location 2x a week hybrid

As a Product/Data Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across innovative audit platforms, designing intuitive interfaces that make complex data accessible and actionable. Working alongside Product Managers, Engineers, Data Specialists, and senior stakeholders, you'll own the design journey from discovery through to delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Design intuitive, user-centred experiences across enterprise audit products
  • Map user journeys, workflows, and information architecture
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
  • Build engaging dashboards and data visualisations that simplify complex information
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative design improvements
  • Ensure accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design principles are embedded throughout
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Data teams to deliver scalable digital products
  • Contribute to design systems and maintain consistency across products
  • Support governance, testing, and accreditation activities within regulated audit environments
  • Champion Design Thinking and advocate for the user across product teams

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience as a Product Designer, UX Designer, UI Designer, or Product/Data Designer
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design
  • Experience designing complex enterprise or data-heavy applications
  • Excellent knowledge of Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
  • Experience with user research, usability testing, and interaction design
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams within Agile environments
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and senior business stakeholders
  • Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
  • Degree in Product Design, UX, HCI, Interaction Design, Data Visualisation, or a related discipline

Desirable Experience

  • Data visualisation platforms and dashboard design
  • Enterprise SaaS products
  • Regulated industries such as Financial Services, Audit, Banking, or Professional Services
  • Understanding of Audit technology, UK Audit regulations, or data-driven audit solutions
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is advantageous
