Product Designer - Belfast

MCS Group are partnering with a fast-growing technology company that builds secure, enterprise-grade AI solutions for highly regulated environments.

As the company has evolved from a consultancy into a product-focused business, it has developed its own AI platform and is seeing rapid growth in both its customer base and product teams. We are now looking to hire Product Designers at Mid to Senior or Principal level to help shape the future of their AI products.

This role is focused on designing and evolving the company’s design system and component libraries, requiring strong experience in building, maintaining, and scaling such systems.

The Opportunity

Join an exciting project where you’ll work on complex, innovative AI products solving real-world challenges. Depending on your level, you’ll:

  • Lead design projects, from discovery through to delivery
  • Create intuitive user experiences for sophisticated software products
  • Design, build, and scale design systems and reusable UI component libraries
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to influence product direction
  • Conduct user research, prototyping, and usability testing
  • Mentor and support other designers (for Senior and Principal roles)
  • Drive design strategy and set best practices across the organisation (Principal level)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
