Product Designer - Moneybox

About Moneybox

At Moneybox, our mission is to give everyone the means to get more out of life. We're guided by our belief that wealth isn't about the money, it's about the means to more: more freedom, opportunities, possibilities, and peace of mind.

Moneybox is an award-winning wealth management platform, helping over one and a half million people build wealth throughout their lives, whether they’re saving and investing, buying their first home, or planning for retirement.

About the Role

This is a high-autonomy role with real ownership. You’ll shape the underlying system and guidelines for interaction, visual design, motion, and product thinking across high-impact customer-facing surfaces.

Your work will drive action, clarity, conversion, and long-term engagement, collaborating closely with Product, Content, Marketing, Engineering, and Brand Designers.

The role reports to the Design Lead and sits on the User Interface, Systems and Content team.

Responsibilities

  • Raise the quality of interaction, visual, motion, and product thinking throughout the product and become the thought leader for design across the team.
  • Partner with Product to deliver commercially-aligned briefs, ensuring measurable outcomes.
  • Turn data and customer feedback into designs that clarify value and drive action.
  • Collaborate with Content and Marketing to draft and refine copy, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and brand coherence.
  • Work closely with Engineering to ship designs with integrity.
  • Co-own the overall design language and design system(s), including foundational guidelines and standards.
  • Integrate the Moneybox brand seamlessly into the product through direct collaboration with Brand Designers.
  • Articulate trade-offs clearly and influence decisions beyond your immediate area of responsibility.
  • Adopt AI tools and workflows to boost efficiency and creativity.
  • Design high-quality user experiences for native iOS, Android, and responsive web platforms.
  • Embed WCAG AA accessibility standards deeply into the design process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
