The Opportunity

We’re working with a confidential, fast-growing business within the beauty space that partners with leading retailers to deliver innovative, high-quality product ranges.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Product Developer to join a dynamic team and play a key role in shaping commercially successful beauty ranges.

The Role

This position will lead the full product development lifecycle within the Beauty category, taking concepts from initial idea through to retail launch.

You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to deliver best-in-class products, combining creativity with strong commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new product ranges, aligning with customer needs and commercial objectives
  • Conduct market, consumer, and competitor research to identify opportunities
  • Stay ahead of beauty trends, innovations, and emerging brands, using insights to shape product direction
  • Develop creative, insight-led concepts and translate them into clear briefs for internal teams and suppliers

  • Oversee packaging and artwork development in collaboration with design teams
  • Review and refine samples to ensure alignment with brand standards and retailer expectations
  • Identify commercial opportunities through analysis of performance and category data
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail customers, presenting concepts and securing buy-in

  • Contribute to pitches, brand projects, and wider category initiatives

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
