Graduate Buyer & Technical Specialist – Product Development

Key Responsibilities

Collaborative Product Creation Work alongside our Buying Team to realise a diverse range of creative merchandise (e.g., bespoke bags, apparel, tech gadgets, and packaging solutions).

Technical Problem-Solving Partner with design, commercial, and sales teams to research, develop, and execute innovative product strategies—ensuring feasibility, feasibility, and technological excellence.

End-to-End Project Ownership Lead the full product lifecycle:
- Sourcing: Identify and vet suppliers across Europe.
- Negotiation: Secure competitive terms and favourable contracts.
- Production: Align timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Maintenance: Monitor supplier performance and efficiencies post-launch.

Quality & Compliance Maintain rigorous product and safety standards, ensuring every product adheres to technical specs, legal requirements (e.g., ergonomic, sustainability, durability).

Supplier Development Proactively discover new suppliers and establish relationships with factories—strengthening the availability of cutting-edge, cost-effective solutions.

Process & Documentation Compile and manage detailed technical specifications, purchase orders, lead times, and cost analysis—with unwavering precision.
Who You Are

Qualification & Background Graduate in Product Design, Industrial Engineering, Material Science, or related disciplines—or equivalent technical/creative project roles. Experience preferred in a buying, product development, or procurement environment.

Technical Mindset Strong analytical skills—you deconstruct challenges, leverage logistics/tech expertise to develop intelligent solutions. Ability to speak the language of suppliers, negotiate dense contracts, and model financial trade-offs (cost vs. quality vs. timeline).

Commercial Acumen Highly attuned to budget control, cost optimisation, and ROI-driven decisions. Bilingual in German/English is a plus (due to European supplier network).
