McCue is a global leader in safety solutions, designing innovative products that protect people, equipment, and facilities around the world. We are looking for a talented Product Development Engineer to join our Product Development team in Milton Keynes.
This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys turning ideas into innovative products, solving complex design challenges, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new solutions to market.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and launch innovative products from concept through production.
- Improve existing products by enhancing functionality, reducing manufacturing costs, and developing product line extensions.
- Create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation using SolidWorks.
- Design, build, and test prototypes to validate product performance before production.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure designs are ready for production.
- Provide technical support and engineering expertise to internal teams and customers.
- Manage multiple product development projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Travel internationally, as needed, to support suppliers, customers, and product development activities.

What We're Looking For
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in product development, mechanical design, or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
- Experience creating engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and product testing is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
