As a Product Development Manager

  • Commerce in contract logistics is essential.
  • Drive Business growth through the development and deployment of an end-to-end portfolio of commerce services, increasing GP by introducing new customers and offering to existing customers.
  • Evangelist within the BD and Account Management community for E-commerce solutions and services, driving adoption and growth and providing Subject Matter Expertise in support of awareness and sales to new and existing customers. Leveraging, integrating, and coordinating the full range of solutions to meet the needs of our UK-based E-commerce customers.
  • Lead significant/complex/strategic product sales and develop product sales support (pre-sales, collateral, cost models, solution templates, case studies, competitive positioning) – driving efficiency and effectiveness of business development effort, including commercial and operational templating.
  • Lead product channel development – BD teams, account management, operations, external partners and act as a coach to ensure transfer of skills from Retail into cross-regional teams to accelerate the adoption of E-commerce best practices in all sectors.
  • Accountable for product customer satisfaction – as measured through POR, NPS, and net growth.
  • Delivery of product growth target and sustained growth through product pipeline development and management.
  • Drive Product Management process (including specification, roadmap, and continuous improvement), delivering improvements to products, sustaining competitive advantage, and enhancing market share.
  • Lead product development, innovation, and future investment planning (reporting to Product Board).
