Reporting To: Chief Product Officer Location: Bournemouth / Remote (monthly travel required) Job Type: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

The Team & Role
We are looking for an exceptional, seasoned product leader to join our Product Leadership Team. This role transcends traditional product management, acting as the vital bridge between:
- Product strategy
- Deep customer insight
- Thought leadership in a critical segment of social care.
Core Focus Areas:
- Portfolio ownership for a major segment of our product ecosystem.
- Mentorship of a team of Product Managers.
- Domain expertise and strategy shaping commercial, marketing, and market-facing direction for your specific care area.

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Execution
- Portfolio Ownership: Define and align product vision, strategy, and roadmap to business outcomes.
- Team Empowerment: Lead, coach, and mentor a team of high-performing Product Managers, fostering outcome-driven delivery.
- Product Taste & Judgment: Ensure standard-setting quality, user experience, and technical excellence across your portfolio.
- Outcome Focus: Define and track key business/metric-driven product outcomes and empower teams to deliver.
- Lifecycle Management: Support products from concept to launch, collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure speed, continuity, and success.
- Impact Tracking: Define metrics, build tracking systems, and communicate the narrative of product impact for the business, customers, and the individuals we serve.
Domain Expertise & Thought Leadership
- Market & Customer Insight: Develop a deep understanding of operational, regulatory, and commercial challenges in your care domain.
- Internal Domain Voice: Serve as the primary internal authority, advising leadership on trends,competitive landscape, and opportunities.
- External Thought Leadership: Build the company’s external voice through:
- Speaking at industry events
- Publishing insights
- Engaging with stakeholders to shape market perception
- Go-to-Market Drive: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional Services to build value propositions, sales enablement, onboarding programmes, and market strategies.
- Industry Partnerships: Co-create high-value content with care experts/industry bodies for platform adoption and trust.

Requirements
Experience & Leadership
- Seasoned Product Leadership: Proven track record in complex B2B SaaS environments, managing portfolios and mentoring managers.
- Strategic Vision: Exhibit the ability to articulate clear long-term strategy and drive cross-functional alignment.
- World-Class Product Judgment: Unmatched ability to make difficult trade-offs, delivering transformative business outcomes.
- Domain Agility: No prior social care experience required, but one who learns fast, collaborates deeply, and develops domain expertise.
Skills & Mindset
- Thought Leadership Capacity: Strong verbal/written communication skills and a knack for crafting a distinctive narrative.
- Modern Product Practices: Adaptability to product discovery, continuous delivery, and empowered teams.
- Care Sector Interest: A genuine passion for interoperability in UK social care.
- Collaborative Pragmatism: Pragmatic, collaborative, and relationship-driven approach to problem-solving.
