Job Title

Product Engineer

Salary

Not Disclosed

Company Description

Partly is a London-headquartered startup building a global platform for replacement parts, modernizing a $1.9 trillion industry. Founded by ex-Rocket Lab engineers and backed by elite investors including Blackbird Ventures, Square Peg, and the founders of Figma and Notion, Partly utilizes domain-specific AI to connect the world’s physical parts supply chain.

Job Description

You will own a product surface end-to-end, bridging the gap between customer discovery and shipping production code. By eliminating the handoff between understanding users and building solutions, you will leverage AI-assisted tools to create agentic experiences that transform manual workflows into supervised delegation within one of the world’s least digitized markets.

Location

London, UK

Why this role is remarkable

  • Work at the frontier of AI and physical logistics, building with "Interpreter," a domain-specific model that solves data challenges general-purpose AI cannot.
  • Join a high-traction team backed by top-tier VCs like Octopus Ventures and visionaries such as Peter Beck (Rocket Lab) and Dylan Field (Figma).
  • Experience a high-autonomy environment where you prototype in the afternoon and ship to real customers by the end of the week, owning metrics instead of tickets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You Will Do

  • Conduct weekly customer visits to repairers and parts managers to understand friction points and validate product hypotheses where the work actually happens.
  • Build and ship production-quality code rapidly using AI-assisted development tools to move users from manual operations to supervised agentic delegation.
  • Own the entire product loop for your surface, from identifying customer pain points to measuring adoption and iterating based on real-world usage signals.

The ideal candidate

  • Has 3+ years of experience shipping software end-to-end with a proven track record of owning product outcomes and delivering high-craft user experiences.
  • Demonstrates a builder mentality with a point of view on agentic design, effectively weighing engineering effort against product impact to find efficient paths.
  • Exhibits deep analytical instincts and customer obsession, capable of translating messy real-world relationships into clear, considered, and effortless software solutions.
