Hey there — we’re Kinship 👋
We’re building the Revit tools you wish existed. Our platform helps architects and engineers manage content, track usage, and make smarter decisions with less hassle.
We’re looking for a backend-focused engineer who enjoys building clean APIs, designing resilient systems, and keeping things fast, simple, and secure. Someone who’s comfortable working in PHP, knows their way around Docker, and can help us make the most of AWS to ship reliable software at speed.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain backend services in modern PHP
- Design and implement APIs consumed by our frontend and desktop apps
- Use Docker to standardize development and streamline deployments
- Work with AWS services (e.g. ECS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch) to keep our systems fast and reliable
- Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to ship features
- Write tests and monitor performance so we can trust our stack at scale

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
