Dex

Dex is an AI recruiter agent that helps you run your job search. Tell Dex your stack, seniority, and what you want to build. We will manage your applications and surface other opportunities that are a fit.

The role

This is a profitable, bootstrapped company with significant ARR, on a clear path to rapid growth and a material exit. They're building an AI-powered research platform that's already attracting leading tech companies, global foundations, and major consumer brands. Their bet is on a specialized, fast, AI-native alternative to slow, incumbent players.

This isn't a junior role. You'll join a small team, owning significant product pieces end-to-end, from UI to API to model calls. You'll ship faster and have more direct customer exposure than at a larger company. Expect high autonomy, high expectations, and a clear path to operating at a senior level within a year.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The work

  • Build production features end-to-end: from UI, through the API, to model calls and back.
  • Get hands-on with the AI stack: running evals, debugging agent loops, and fixing model changes.
  • Own significant product pieces that customers use daily.
  • Engage directly in customer calls and design discussions from day one.

What You Bring

  • You've built something with LLMs in production, a serious side project, or a hackathon, and can show how it works.
  • Solid Python fundamentals and comfort across the full stack: frontend, backend, and deployment.
  • Experience with AI tooling like agent frameworks or model evaluation, even if early in your practice.
  • A track record of visibly building and shipping, whether in past roles, side projects, or open source.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, 0-to-1 startup environment.
