The role
This is an AI operating system for national healthcare, already deployed in hundreds of clinics and serving a significant portion of a major national population. They've resolved millions of patient cases, saving thousands of lives, and are on track to deploy to half of that population this year. Backed by leading VCs, they're cash-flow positive with significant ARR and recently turned down substantial pre-emptive funding. This is a rare chance to build at scale, with direct, measurable impact.
You'll join a tight-knit engineering team where founders and senior leaders still ship code. This is an AI-native product engineering role, not a traditional one. You won't spend time on boilerplate; you'll be talking to clinicians, deeply understanding workflow problems, and designing the interfaces between humans and swarms of AI agents. You'll own projects end-to-end, building agent-friendly codebases that self-converge against a UX loss function.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
The work
- Decompose complex clinical workflows and design intuitive human-AI interfaces for a system serving millions of patients.
- Own projects end-to-end across a fully serverless stack, leveraging TypeScript, React/Angular, AWS Lambda, and DynamoDB.
- Build agent-friendly codebases with custom linters, structural tests, and Playwright loops, enabling autonomous agent development.
- Leverage structured longitudinal clinical data to continuously improve the product, directly contributing to saving lives.
- Scale an engineering organization to 100x its current capacity, impacting national healthcare infrastructure.
What You Bring
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and the JS/Node ecosystem, with hands-on full-stack experience across React/Angular front-ends and serverless back-ends.
- Proven experience architecting production systems on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS) or a demonstrated "hungry to learn" mindset for serverless infrastructure.
- A track record of relentless shipping, ideally as an early employee or founder at a startup with significant traction.
- Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, first-principles thinking) and an obsession with UX over arbitrary technical goals.
- A demonstrably top-of-class academic record (e.g., First Class / Distinction in Maths or CS) or an equivalent intelligence spike (e.g., meaningful exit, exceptional shipping velocity).
- At least 5 years of total engineering experience and a deep commitment to building for a mission, not just compensation.
