Product Engineering Data Analyst

It's fun to work in a company where people truly believe in what they're doing! We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business. If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Engineering Data Analyst to help the Product Engineering team access, analyse, and act on product, process, yield, and test data faster and more consistently.

As a member of the Product Engineering team, you will support data-driven decision making across areas such as:

  • Yield improvement
  • Product performance
  • Material review
  • Manufacturability
  • Zero-defect culture

This is the team's go-to builder of analysis tools, dashboards, and data packages—the person who transforms slow, manual, one-off data tasks into fast, repeatable, maintainable software support.

When an engineer needs data pulled, a tool rebuilt, or a recurring report established, you're their go-to.

Suitable Candidates for the Role

This role attracts those who can transition from either:

  • A Product / Process / Test / Manufacturing Engineer moving further into data analytics
  • A Data Science / Analytics professional transitioning closer to Product Engineering, manufacturing, yield, and product performance.

Key Responsibilities

You will work across multiple departments, including:

  • Product, Process, and Test Engineering
  • Quality
  • Operations
  • Manufacturing
  • IT / Data-System Owners
  • Local and Global Data Science & Analytics Teams

Primary accountability lies within Product Engineering priorities, while business ownership is set by the Product Engineering Manager.

  • Create tools that pull product, process, yield, and test data faster—and revamp outdated systems that are unstable, cumbersome, or no longer useful.
  • Maintain and upgrade Product Engineering reports, dashboards, and reporting frameworks (including creation, maintenance, validation, and enhancement).
  • Develop product-health dashboards and recurring scorecards.
  • Extract, clean, validate, analyse, and present data from multiple sources to ensure data quality and engineering accuracy.
  • Establish and scale repeatable analysis methods across wafer-, bar-, die-, device-, and final-test levels.
  • Support yield, trend, parametric analysis, failure Pareto / failure-mode analysis, and product performance monitoring.
  • Assist with investigations into yield loss, scrap, rework, lot holds, and tool excursions by correlating process data, tool history, metrology, SPC data, and test results.
  • Improve self-service access to commonly used Product Engineering data, collaborating closely with:
    • IT teams
    • Data Science & Analytics (DSA) teams
    • MES owners
  • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support structured problem-solving methodologies (such as 8D, DMAIC, Lean, and Kaizen) when data analysis is crucial.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
