Product Engineers -Cloud (Multiple Levels) Hybrid

Cloud Product Security Engineer – Allstate NI

At Allstate, exceptional results are achieved when our diverse teams collaborate to safeguard families and their belongings against life’s unforeseen challenges. For over 90 years, our innovation has empowered us to anticipate and meet our customers' needs, setting industry-centric standards in areas such as advocacy for safety measures (seat belts, airbags, graduated driving laws), pricing sophistication, telematics, and device and identity protection.

About the Role

The Product Security Engineering team designs, builds, and operates enterprise security controls as software products tailored for cloud platforms, integrating them into software development life cycles (SDLC), and core enterprise services. Embracing modern software and cloud engineering frameworks, the team delivers scalable, reliable, and developer-friendly security solutions for cloud-hosted workloads.

You will extend your expertise as a hands-on Cloud Product Security Engineer, responsible for developing, embedding, and managing security measures within cloud-based environments. Successful candidates will focus on designing, deploying, and overseeing cloud security posture management (CSPM) and data loss prevention (DLP) competencies. These frameworks ensure continuous detection, risk assessment, and mitigation across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and application services.

Cloud Product Security Engineers own the complete software development lifecycle (design, implementation, deployment, and production support), showcasing accountability for the reliability, adoption, and efficacy of the security controls—contributing significantly to incident detection, response, and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate cloud-native security controls as software products across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and application services
  • Engineer and sustain CSPM and DLP abilities, ensuring proactive detection, risk assessment, and risk reduction in cloud environments
  • Develop and maintain preventative, detective, and responsive security controls that embed directly into cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and shared enterprise services
  • Integrates cloud security controls with SIEM and security tooling to enable high-fidelity signals for detection, investigation, and incident response
  • Support incident handling and response by engineering detection logic, automation, and response workflows that enhance containment and recovery
  • Apply modern cloud and software engineering practices (e.g., Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing, CI/CD) to ensure reliable, scalable, and maintainable security controls
  • Collaborate with platform engineers, application teams, and Digital Product Managers to align cloud security controls with system architectures and developer workflows

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
