Location: Portsmouth (Onsite)

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Product Environmental Compliance Specialist to join our Quality & Compliance team to be primarily based on site here in Portsmouth. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our products meet global environmental and regulatory standards. You will support the day-to-day management of compliance data, supplier declarations, and customer requirements, helping to maintain accurate and robust compliance information across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of product environmental compliance data and documentation
- Maintain compliance records, supplier declarations, and evidence files
- Review supplier submissions including material disclosures, certificates, and technical documents
- Assist with compliance assessments across products, components, materials, and packaging
- Respond to customer compliance queries, questionnaires, and declaration requests
- Follow up with suppliers to resolve missing, incomplete, or non-conformant data
- Support compliance with regulations such as RoHS, REACH, SCIP, PFAS, and responsible minerals
- Contribute to process improvements and data quality initiatives
- Assist with validation activities, including testing and database updates
About You
We’re open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds — whether you’re early in your career or bringing existing experience.
You’ll bring:
- Experience or qualifications in a technical, scientific, quality, manufacturing, supply chain or business discipline (A Levels, T Levels, BTEC, HNC/HND, apprenticeships or similar)
- Strong Excel and systems skills, with the ability to learn ERP and compliance tools
- An understanding of product/environmental compliance, engineering, quality or supply chain processes
- Ability to interpret technical data such as BOMs, material composition, and supplier documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and document control skills
- Clear communication skills for working with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
