Product Executive

Senior Portfolio Analyst - Portfolio Solutions

About the Role

Marsh is seeking a talented individual to join the Placement Plus Team in Manchester as part of the Marsh Portfolio Solutions (MPS) business. This hybrid position (minimum 3 office days per week) presents an opportunity to:

  • Drive the delivery of contracted services to Insurer Partners
  • Collaborate across MPS and the wider Marsh business
  • Deliver high-quality outputs through analytical insights and operational excellence

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the creation of analytical reports for Portfolio Solutions
  • Ensuring accuracy of data, aligning with KPIs for quality, accuracy and timeliness
  • Responding to stakeholder queries within agreed SLA timeframes
  • Coordinating validation and reconciliation exercises for company data
  • Producing ad hoc reports and data enrichment tasks as required
  • Assisting with maintenance and updates of internal intranet pages
  • Attending regular Insurer Partner meetings
  • Taking on additional tasks as directed by managerial team

Requirements

Candidates should ideally demonstrate:

  • Prior experience within a broker or insurance environment, preferably within commercial or general lines insurance
  • Proficiency with Excel and full competence across Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Analytical mindset and a detail-oriented approach
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to initiate independently or collaborate effectively in a team
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced industry

Nice-to-Have Skills

Advantageous experience includes:

  • Experience within product supply/carrier management roles
  • Familiarity with the ET2 trading system (online training provided)
  • Basic knowledge of Acturis platform (training available)
