Product Executive

Placement Plus Analytical Coordinator – Marsh Portfolio Solutions (Manchester)

Company: Marsh

Marsh is seeking a talented individual to join the Placement Plus team in Manchester as part of the Marsh Portfolio Solutions (MPS) business. This hybrid position (3+ days per week in the office) offers the opportunity to contribute to and drive the delivery of contracted services to Insurer Partners, while collaborating with colleagues across MPS and the wider business.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and analytically minded
  • Committed to delivering high-quality work with strong self-motivation
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively, balancing competing priorities
  • Confident communicating with stakeholders, exercising sound judgment in a professional yet dynamic workplace

Insurance industry experience is advantageous, particularly within brokers or commercial/general lines settings.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creation of analytical reports for Portfolio Solutions
  • Ensure data accuracy while meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for quality, precision, and timeliness
  • Address stakeholder queries within agreed timeframes (internal and external)
  • Implement validation and reconciliation exercises for produced data
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and perform data enrichment tasks as required
  • Attend regular Insurer Partner meetings
  • Assist with intranet pages maintenance
  • Execute any additional tasks as directed by the team

Requirements

Essential:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advanced proficiency desirable)
  • Competency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Sharp attention to detail
  • Independent, self-starting attitude with an analytical mindset
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferable:

  • Prior experience in a broker or insurance company, particularly commercial or general lines brokerage
  • Experience in product supply or carrier management roles
  • Exposure to the ET2 trading system (training provided)
  • Basic familiarity with the Acturis platform (training available)
