About the Role
We are partnering with a reputable Tour Operator, seeking a Product Executive to join their growing team based in South East London.
This commercially minded product specialist will design, optimise, and manage group tour products across the company’s brand portfolio—ideal for someone with a proven track record of developing profitable, operationally strong tour products across Europe, the UK & Ireland, Asia, or the Middle East. This is a rare opportunity to shape unforgettable travel experiences while driving innovation in an established portfolio of brands.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the commercial performance, operational strength, and traveller experience of tours within your portfolio, collaborating across multiple brands.
- Product Ownership: Develop profitable, optimised, and well-managed tours that deliver exceptional traveller experiences and support business growth
- Commercial Product Development: Build and refine tours to meet profitability targets by managing costs, supplier agreements, itinerary design, and inclusions
- Optional Experiences & Revenue Optimisation: Design and refine optional excursions that enhance core itineraries, reflect regional highlights, align with customer interests, and drive revenue growth
- Procurement Collaboration & Product Sourcing: Work with Procurement to review and approve hotel and supplier selections, while independently managing sourcing, contracting, and coordination of meals, experiences, and local services for new tours. Includes liaising with Destination Management Companies (DMCs) to ensure alignment with product goals
- Documentation & Cross-Team Support: Maintain accurate documentation for seamless handovers, and train teams on product updates, itinerary changes, and key developments
- Market Insight & Innovation: Leverage customer, market, and competitor research to create compelling, competitive offerings
- Pricing Collaboration & Market Alignment: Partner with the Pricing & Yield Manager to ensure pricing remains commercially sound, competitive, and accurately implemented
- Tour Page Review & Accuracy: Approve tour pages and web content, ensuring clear communication of highlights and core experiences while staying true to the product vision
- Field Research & Product Immersion: Participate in fam trips (familiarisation tours), business visits, and select departures to refine product quality and destination knowledge
- Additional Support: As required by the Senior Product Developer or Head of Product & Innovation

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
