Product Growth Engineer (Virality, Referral, Product-Led Growth)
Product Growth Engineer, Founder-Builder @AIApply
As Product Growth, your mission is simple:
Engineer growth into the product itself.
Why this role?
You’ll own every product experience that causes users to bring more users. You start by owning referrals and transforming them into a true growth engine. Collaborate with the CEO, engineering, and design teams, ship relentlessly, and leverage AI to accelerate growth beyond traditional product timelines.
Your remit expands over time to include:
- Referrals & Viral Loops
- User-Generated Content
- Social Sharing & Invite Mechanics
- Freemium Experiences
- Product-Moment Sharing
- Community Mechanics
- Unconventional Growth Experiments
You’ll build and lead the team responsible for making AIApply grow organically through its product experience.
This is a founder-builder role—distribution is fundamentally a product problem. We’re looking for someone who:
✔ Believes software should be genuinely shareable ✔ Is obsessed with consumer psychology ✔ Can instinctively design experiences that feel valuable and viral ✔ Owns Product Growth as the company scales (-eventually mentoring in Product or Growth Leadership)
What You’ll Own
🔹 Overall Growth Strategy
- Create product experiences that drive organic user acquisition
- Turn every feature into a potential distribution channel
- Build viral loops where users invite only those who could benefit

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
