Product Line Engineering Manager
Position: Product Line Engineering Manager Location: Deeside, Flintshire Job Type: Permanent / Onsite
My client, a leading force within aerospace manufacturing, are on the hunt for an Product Line Engineering Manager to join the team in Deeside.
Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead a team of engineers across 2 main sites within the UK, ensuring functional performance in all key areas of the business.
- Develop measures to assess, meet or exceed goals, and improve the health of key business processes.
- Contribute to new business proposals, including:
- Proposal development
- Market awareness
- Customer relationship building
- Developing new strategies to win new contracts
- Coach and improve engineers across all levels, ensuring KPIs are achieved.
- Oversee new product development from contract award through to introduction into the supply chain, meeting cost, schedule, and performance targets.

Experience or Qualifications
- Highly extensive experience in leading engineering teams (ideally within an aerospace/defence environment).
- Degree-level education in engineering or aerospace.
- Detailed examples of improving an engineering team's:
- Culture,
- Work ethic.
- Experience in a multi-site business, including travel to work with suppliers/partners.
Candidates currently holding the following roles may be suitable for this position: Product Line Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager, Aerospace Engineering Manager, or Engineering Team Leader.
