Product Management Specialist - Thermal

The Offer Specialist – Liquid Cooling Product Line

Job Description

The Offer Specialist plays a critical role in shaping and driving Vertiv’s Liquid Cooling product line strategy, with a strong focus on delivering financial targets. The successful candidate will collaborate with global Product Managers, regional offer teams, and key departments such as engineering, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure smooth and successful product launches.

Ideal candidates will excel with:

  • Collaborative approach and cross-functional teamwork

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product/Offer Managers to determine product requirements, prioritise features, and drive the product roadmap
  • Liaise with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to synchronise efforts and ensure timely, successful product launches
  • Develop distinct, compelling value propositions that differentiate our offerings in the market
  • Assist in formulating and executing Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, including product messaging, positioning, and launch campaigns
  • Contribute to pricing strategies that balance customer value with business objectives
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to assess:
    • Customer needs
    • Competitive landscapes
    • Emerging trends
  • Support customer-facing teams by resolving product-related questions and concerns
  • Gather and analyse user feedback through surveys, interviews, and data to guide improvements
  • Lead cross-functional product rollouts with Marketing, Sales, and Channel teams, ensuring plan execution
  • Provide accurate demand forecasts and oversee inventory management within the Vertiv SIOP process
  • Evaluate market trends, industry shifts, and future requirements to refine product strategy
  • Engage in trade shows, customer visits, and digital marketing to extend our brand presence
  • Build and maintain strong cross-departmental relationships
  • Champion company values tied to creativity and innovation

Requirements

  • Degree: Preference for a Bachelor’s (BS) in Engineering or Product Marketing, though not strictly required
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years in product marketing or industry experience
  • Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Proficient relationship management
    • Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency
    • Self-motivated and proactive with excellent time management
  • Core Principals & Behaviours: Must align with Vertiv’s value system (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork, Diversity & Inclusion) and behaviours such as Own It, Act With Urgency, and Think Big & Execute
