Product Management Specialist - Thermal

The Offer Specialist (Liquid Cooling Product Line Strategy)

This role sits at the heart of Vertiv’s Liquid Cooling product line strategy, driving performance, market alignment, and cross-functional collaboration to meet revenue targets. The ideal candidate will partner with global product managers, regional teams, and departments—including Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Operations—to ensure seamless and successful product launches.

Executing this role demands sharp analytical skills, deep industry insight, customer-centric focus, and a methodical approach to translating business needs into competitive, data-driven strategies.


Responsibilities

  • Lead strategy & execution:

    • Collaborate with Product/Offer Managers to define product requirements, set feature prioritizations, and shape the roadmap.
    • Align cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales) to ensure ons-time, flawless product launches.
  • Craft compelling value propositions:

    • Develop unique, differentiated product messaging that resonates with customers and stands out in the market.
    • Contribute to Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, including positioning, pricing, and launch execution.
  • Market insight & demand forecast:

    • Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, competitive pressures, and emerging opportunities.
    • Provide accurate monthly/quarterly demand forecasts; participate in Vertiv’s SIOP inventory processes.

  • Pricing & customer support:

    • Guide pricing strategies that balance customer value with financial objectives.
    • Assist customer-facing teams by clarifying technical queries and product doubts.
  • Feedback & teamwork:

    • Analyze user surveys, interviews, and data to drive iterative product improvements.
    • Partner with Regional Marketing, Sales & Channel teams to execute product rollouts with full cross-functional oversight.
  • Representation & engagement:

    • Embrace opportunities like trade shows, customer visits, and digital marketing to expand visibility.
    • Cultivate strong inter-departmental relationships and embody Vertiv’s culture of innovation and collaboration.

Requirements

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Marketing, or related field (not compulsory, but strongly preferred).
  • 3+ years of product, commercial, or industry experience (preference given to those with Liquid Cooling/employment solutions backgrounds).

Technical & Behavioral

  • Strong written/communication & relationship management skills—play well with technical and commercial teams.
  • Excel proficient in MS Office (Advanced Track/Quadbasics Level). Eagerness to learn tools like ERP or **Salesforce'.
  • Self-starter with ability to balance stakeholder priorities and deadlines under fast-paced conditions.
