Location: Corby – A remote location can be considered

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Product Manager to take ownership of an existing product that is currently under development. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Defining and maintaining the complete product roadmap
  • Aligning business objectives with customer needs
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Ensuring successful delivery of product features and releases

This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution. You will work closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, customer success, and executive leadership to deliver a market-leading product.


Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Take ownership of the overall product vision, strategy, and direction
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with company goals and market opportunities
  • Define product positioning, value propositions, and competitive differentiation
  • Identify new opportunities for product growth, expansion, and innovation
  • Establish product objectives, KPIs, and success metrics

Product Planning & Roadmap Management

  • Create, maintain, and communicate a clear product roadmap and release plan
  • Prioritise features, enhancements, and technical initiatives based on business impact and customer value
  • Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term strategic objectives
  • Manage product backlogs and ensure priorities are clearly understood by development teams

Requirements Gathering & Product Definition

  • Gather and analyse requirements from customers, stakeholders, sales teams, and market research
  • Translate business needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
  • Define product workflows, user journeys, and feature requirements
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation

Product Development & Delivery

  • Work closely with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning activities
  • Remove obstacles and facilitate decision-making to maintain delivery momentum
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks and dependencies
  • Ensure product releases meet quality, usability, security, and performance standards

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions
  • Communicate product strategy, priorities, and progress to executive leadership and stakeholders
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate alignment across departments
  • Present product updates, roadmap reviews, and business cases to senior management

Market Research & Customer Insights

  • Conduct market analysis, competitive research, and industry trend assessments
  • Gather customer feedback through interviews, surveys, usage analytics, and customer engagement
  • Identify customer pain points and opportunities for product improvement
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics

Product Analytics & Performance Management

  • Define and monitor product performance metrics and KPIs
  • Analyse user behaviour, adoption trends, and customer feedback
  • Use data-driven insights to guide product decisions and prioritization
  • Continuously optimize product performance, engagement, and customer satisfaction

Go-To-Market & Product Launches

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies
  • Support product launches, feature releases, and customer communications
  • Develop product documentation, training materials, and sales enablement resources
  • Ensure successful adoption of new features and product capabilities

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead collaboration between engineering, UX/UI, QA, sales, marketing, operations, and customer success teams
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Drive alignment between business objectives and product execution
  • Mentor and guide junior product team members where applicable

Product Governance & Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive product documentation, requirements, roadmaps, and decision logs
  • Establish product management processes, frameworks, and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and security requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or a related role
  • Proven experience managing software products through multiple development and release cycles
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum product development methodologies
  • Experience creating and managing product roadmaps and backlogs
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience working closely with software engineering and UX teams
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing SaaS, AI, cloud, enterprise, fintech, telecom, cybersecurity, or digital platform products
  • Experience with product analytics tools and data-driven decision-making
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Productboard, Figma, Miro, or similar tools
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
  • MBA or relevant product management certifications are a plus
